Tips & Tricks…
Make stripping less time intensive by following these two easy steps:
1. QUANTITY: Have enough stripping solution on the floor to “float” or carry the multiple coats of floor finish you are removing. As the finish breaks down and turns back into a liquid it needs a place to go. You need enough stripper on the floor to carry it and to keep it from settling back down on the floor. If this happens, a second, more difficult, stripping job will be needed.
2. TIME. Give your stripper time to do its job. Allow the stripping solution at least 10 minutes to penetrate the layers of floor finish before scrubbing. This will ultimately mean less time spent on your stripping job. |
